Stack I use
- Scraping: Scrapy, Playwright, Selectolax, httpx, residential proxies when needed
- Anti-bot: Cloudflare CAPTCHA passing, rotating fingerprints, headers, and sessions for sites you have a legitimate right to access
- Orchestration: Cron, APScheduler, Prefect, or your queue
- Storage: Postgres, S3
- Notifications: Slack, email, webhooks
What I will not do
- Scrape sites that explicitly forbid it
- Bypass auth/paywalls
- Build anything that violates ToS your business can’t defend
